Visit our sponsors’ locations…
We encourage all of Ashtabula County to support these vital businesses to the Ashtabula Dart League. Without their continued support, we would not be here.
Want your business listed here? Want to sponsor a dart team for only $40.00 for the whole season?? Simply contact us and we’ll see what we can do.
What do you get for your sponsorship??
That question is easy to answer…
More business on one of your slowest nights of the week, Tuesday.
The typical darter comes straight from work to darts, so they usually skip dinner and just grab something from where ever they are shooting. Even if it’s just some fries or chicken fingers, most darters come hungry for something. Not only will they be buying food, most will be buying copious amounts of liquor and beer. It is an easy way to boost sales on Tuesday and all it costs is a small sponsor fee from you and the equipment of course.
What’s involved in the equipment??
Call us and we’ll try to help you keep your costs down, but all that is involved in the equipment is a backing board (usually cork or fiberboard), a dart board, a scoreboard, and a lighting system (fluorescent light bar or spot lights work best).
Backing Board: $10.00 – Doesn’t have to be anything special. Just don’t want darters putting holes in your wall or brick or worse yet, damaging their darts.
Dart Board: $35.00 – It must be an approved ADA dart board. The cheap ones at Walmart will not work. Normally the best brand names are Nodor, Winmau, DMI, or Accudart. Just make sure it is a full size-legal bristal dart board. Once again, the dart league can help you here.
Scoreboard: $15.00 – All you really need is a dry erase board, but you can get an officially marked chalk board for about the same price. Some places prefer chalk, but this is more costly and messy. We suggest dry erase.
Lighting System: $7.00 to $40.00 – This really all depends on what you want to do and your positioning of the board. Most places can get away with a cheap 18″ florescent light from Walmart. As long as the board is illuminated well, you should be fine. Some places use track-lighting lights… this is fine as well as long as it lights up the board so darters can see well.
One final note: if you have hard floors, such as cement or brick, you may want to consider a carpet or rug for the spot in front of the board. This will protect your floor and the throwers darts.
If you have any questions, please contact the dart league, we’ll discuss it, and help you start enjoying a new dart team out of your establishment.
