Win % & Pts Standings Print This Page

Win % and Individual Points are an awesome new thing we are going to be tracking throughout the season.  Are you tired of always hearing someone brag about write-ups but you care more about wins?  Well, this will put that discussion to rest or add fuel to the fire.  One way or the other, it's gonna be fun to track.

Here's how it all works…

Each game is worth one point.  That single point will be divided up by how many players win the game.  If it is a single game, then the darter who wins will get the full point.  If it's a double game, such as a 501 or team cricket, each winning player will get .5 or half point.  In the case of the 701, each winning darter will get .25 points.  No points will be awarded for losses or "good tries".

Team captains will be responsible for writing this down on the weekly dart match-up sheet, as it will make it easier for us to track the whole league.

The Top 10 Darters from each division will be posted on the website.  If you want to know where you stand in points and why your not in the Top 10 for your division, please contact us and we'll let you know or simply download the excel sheet with all the stats for the league in the "downloadables" section.

The winning percentage is the overall amount of games played divided by the overall games won.  This will be tracked on an individual darter basis.

These new statistics should help the league become more fun and bring an added element of competition. Shoot Well and Good Luck.

NOTICE:  To qualify to have your stats placed among the best in the ADL, you need to have played in at least 35 games, at least 18 points scored for each half, along with a minimum of at least 50% win percentage.  The standings are compiled using win percentage, rather then total points scored.  To make things more even, winning percentage will be the compiling agent used when discussing standings from here on out.  In the event of a tie in win percentage, we will then go to points scored as the tie breaker.
